The operating problem
Learning content, progress, code execution, and public identity needed stable identifiers and clear privacy boundaries.
My contribution
Built DSA navigation, 150 editorials, 630 checkable topics, a Monaco-powered runner, resume tooling, public profiles, and a 12-theme VS Code Marketplace extension.
System shape
The key decision
Progress keys use source files and structural indices while public slugs remain independently changeable, avoiding forced progress migrations.
Reliability by design
PostgreSQL RLS protects 17 tables, a dedicated public-profile projection exposes only intended fields, and execution can fall back between Judge0 and self-hosted Piston.
What the source proves
Honest limits
The product has no model runtime, no secure hidden-test judge, and no claim of complete test coverage.
